About can2gauge
For enthusiasts – by enthusiasts.
Where it came from
can2gauge began as a round-screen companion display for OpenHaldex, our open-source Haldex AWD controller: the lock and mode on the dash, and a mode change from the glass.
The engine and gearbox were already on the same CAN bus, so the gauge learned to read those too. The K-line brought in the older cars, and a Bluetooth OBD dongle the rest. It’s now a gauge for any car, with Haldex as an optional extra.
Like the rest of our products, every setting lives in the web interface on your phone.

The firmware, the web interface and the simulator behind the demo are open source on GitHub.
